Q:  What is music therapy?

A:  Music therapy is the use of music aspects such as rhythm, instrument playing, songwriting or singing to facilitate growth in areas of need.  We use music very much the way an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Psychotherapist might use their techniques.  Music therapists utilize the added element of music for the medium in which to aid in any goals clients may have.
